Unexpected Visitor

The squirrel just happend to jump into the frame (after I've taken a

few shots already). I thought it would make a nice little addition to

the image. Should I have posted this shot with or without him in

there? He's so small, he's not very distracting as far as I could tell.

IMHO, it's a pity that he just jumped into the frame.

I would have liked him to be more the center of attention. In any case, less DOF would have helped to blur out the houses in the background and to specify more the main subjects which are in my opinion: the rock, the tree, the squirrel. ;-) - it could have been a much nicer photo emphasizing them more. BTW, maybe a little bit of fill-flash would have helped too.

Nevertheless, the textures of the tree and the colors of the rock are very nice.
