Ellery Lake-Yosemite National Park

It's too bad you didn't have a dramatic, stormy day while up there... ahh, the curse of the Sierra Nevada in summer ;-)  Have you tried a crop that eliminates most of the sky and the white/gray foreground rocks, perhaps looking over the top of the flowers in lieu of including the bottom edge of them?  For what you had to work with and the time of day, you couldn't have done a whole lot better though.
