While I like the photo, I don't understand the title. Please don't tell me it's something sad, my sappy old heart couldn't stand it.

Nice photo, except the woman's pose seems a bit forced, like she is sitting straight, but twisted unnaturally towards the dog.

I love dogs also, pretty subjects. I agree with the last 2 comments and think also that it could have been better if the shot were cropped, maybe just around midsection? I think the womens pose is throwing this shot out of whack from the shoulders down.

this photograph tells the story of a womans love for her dog. Great. But I would have taken the time to straighten out the womans hair to show her beautiful neck (which I am sure she has) and I also don't like cutting hands off in a portrait.

Otherwise very nice. Kevin
