michaellinder 16,612 Posted September 9, 2010 This photograph would be visually stunning, even without the queen's presence, but it would be lacking in impact. What she adds is the element of disparity, causing the viewer to delve deep into his/her consciousness to find the connection, the meaning, the symbolism she provides. To me, she is turning her back on the world. While she may be wholly engrossed in concentration, it appears to me that she voluntarily has made herself blind and deaf to everything and anyone other than herself. Hers must be a very lonely throne.I am grateful for your creativity and craft, which allow me to explore is ways I never thought possible.michael Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 11, 2010 It's an imginative and fantastic blending of pictures but I also want to comment on the base picture with the rower and the lovely blue boat which I think is very capable of standing on its own. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 277 Posted September 11, 2010 Jack, you mention some base picture, ha! You thought the lovely blue boat was there when I took the base picture? All is blending my place my friend! Thanks for your helpful comment!PDE Link to comment
Elstad 9 Posted September 13, 2010 A most marvelous image my friend. I like how we can see through the 'seat' the figure is sitting on. Bravo! Link to comment
color 3 Posted September 14, 2010 What better way to liven up an ordinary sunset, but with a Queen on a psychedelic pedestal. Of course. Fun image Mr. P Link to comment
