The 8 second exposure gave the wind enough time to move the greenery

on the left and right of the photo. Is it overly dirstracting?

The leaves on the left need to be croped out. Exposure looks lean also, perhaps the slide needs a bit more exposure.

Also, is the neon blue water a function of a local chemical plant, or intentional???

I find the brightest spot to the left distracting. The spot on the upper middle right is too, but not as much, at least for me. I like the exposure. All around good shot.

Matt: Cool photo. The sunlight, bright green spots hurt the photo, but the rest adds to it. It has two zones so to speak. I like it.

I love the bluish glow of the water & how it contrasts with the dark green foilage.

Was this the result of a certain time of day [dawn, sunset, overcast...?], exposure, a filter, or...?

I love this photograph though. I haven't seen such unique hues in this type of photograph. Beautiful.

I believe that the bluish cast to the water is the result of the waterfall being in deep shadow during a VERY bright and clear morning (taken at about 9am with the sun hitting the slope on the left side of the image).

The lens only had a UV filter on it, but the image seems like it would benifit from a bit less exposure (as Scott suggested) and a warming filter (81a)...
