marcos_romero 0 Posted March 27, 2001 I thought the pillars half submerged made an interesting subject. What do you think? Link to comment
alex_medeiros 0 Posted March 27, 2001 I like the subject but the top right corner highlights lack of any detail is distracting. Link to comment
fatboab 1 Posted March 27, 2001 It might be a good subject, but this photo of it's is crap. Try taking it again from a higher view point so there is less water behind it. Also try and avoid the very light area at the top right, it destroys anything this photo may have had. Link to comment
carl smith 0 Posted March 27, 2001 I like the concept. But for me the thing that ruins it is the cinder blocks. To me that's not civilization lost, its a mess. Oh well. The white can be accepted in a different way, if it were without the cinder blocks, I could interpret the white sort of as heaven, or a new place or time coming. Which basically means the ruins are moving out. I wish there was just some way to get rid of all those cinder blocks. try clicking your heels together or saying abra cadabra or however you spell it and snap your fingers. or just proceed onward to a new shot Link to comment
mike_sirott 0 Posted March 29, 2001 Nice job. The soft tonal range on the water contrasts well with the rough rubble. Link to comment
lee_caudill 0 Posted March 29, 2001 There is actually some redeeming qualities to the cinder blocks in the picture. I like to think of them as somewhat starkly contradicting the beauty of the column- somewhat of a paradise lost, once in beauty, now in disarray. Link to comment
