The power of a single bolt of lightning

This single dry bolt was about a 1000 feet from me and I really felt

it's power and as you can see on the shot it hit something! It was the

house of my friend and it sure messed the house up pretty bad.

It was a hell of a storm, rain poured down like crazy and the wind was

very strong and I was standing in the midlle of a big field under my

umbrela. I was so wet and cold...

It is a nice photo but why would you place yourself in such danger? Standing in the middle of a field during a thunderstorm is just crazy.

I agree, it's not a good idea but this is a nice shot.  I like it and I hope you were able to keep your gear dry.
