daverave 1 Posted August 25, 2010 OK, Ken, I'll give it a shot. I find your other redwood photo much more appealing.The greenery in the upper right isn't big enough for me to warrant its inclusion in the frame. The brighter leaves in the lower left are distracting and could use a little brightness reduction. The wide angle lens is causing the trees to appear to lean into the center top of the image. Did you use a tripod? If so, I wonder why you shot it at ISO 800 with wide open aperture, reducing the sharpness somewhat. I think the concept and lighting are fine, just needs a little tweaking. But what do I know, I've got the lowest rated landscape photo of the last 24 hours ;-) Link to comment
