Stormy

This photo looks like it was photo shopped as the images has to many shadows around the bear or the bear was masked from another image. Very strange to see sun showing up during a snow storm. An image taken during a snow storm would be much brighter and you would see the snow flakes in the image since I had taken photos of bald eagles during the snow storm. I rate this a 4/7.

Its a very nice shoot, see the details... ISO 800 F8 1/1000 usual configuration for freeze the image of animals in movement... very well work in the shadows for detail in the bear, good composition... nice shot...

This is remarkable use of back-lighting.  Love the sharp outline of the bear caused  by the sunlight.  The shadows greatly add to the shot.

I like the effects I see in this shot.  It's very dramatic.  I don't see photoshop but I do see some grainy elements possibly from the blowing snow.  The weather does look hash and I think this shot really shows that.  I like the image.
