Hi Miguel, 

I am not offended by nudity. The study of the naked human body has always been a form of art since the dawn of civilization. I am sorry to say this, but you have posted a nude photo in a none nude gallery, and I do not think that this is OK because some of us could be browsing from the office, in some working places this could result in loosing your job! I always browse the "rate photos" gallery with nudity disabled to avoid offending my work colleagues and spare myself the trouble. Then comes one of these - and this is mild, some times I stumble upon very explicit ones - and that I think is not proper. The nudes gallery is created for that reason, so we can safely browse the galleries. I do respect your artistic ideas, and I see this clearly as a form of art and not pornography. Yet we must admit that some people cant see the fine line between nude art and pornography. I hope I haven't offended you, i was just trying to draw your attention to this issue. I hope i have made myself clear and we can still be friends.

She is a very pretty girl. You have focused well on her eyes.. She has good eye contact with the camera (viewer) and a nice expression -- quite sensual looking. Her skin tone is very good. The lighting and contrast works very well to add interest and to help to add the illusion of depth within your photograph. Her make-up is excellent. She has very nice specular highlights on her lips. The posing of her left hand goes well with her expression. Her hand looks feminine and graceful. The background is nicely out of focus and she is well separated from it.

Because of how you have positioned her body within the frame you have very good left and right compositional balance.

It bothers me that you have chosen to use a relatively narrow depth of field. There are parts of her that are not in very good focus. I don't see a good reason to have any of her out of focus. An out of focus background is very nice and focuses attention on your subject. Parts of your subject out of focus will draw attention away from what is in focus. It is difficult to go wrong with having the entire subject in focus.

Your name could be properly placed on the mat. Hand signing a photograph is quite appropriate to distinguish it as a work of art if the purchaser wishes it done or even if it is on display and for sale in a gallery. Even in a gallery I would ask the purchaser if  he or she wanted it signed before I actually hand signed it.

it's not a portrait - it's a nude.....writing eyes you meant breasts, right?

Excellent photo and no, the DOF on the body should NOT have made the photo better - it would only have made it more "ordinary". I think its GREAT just the way you have done it. People need to understand that if everyone made their photos within conservative guidelines, there would be nothing out there providing "alternatives to the ordinary."

You did a great job on this, and I cannot see any purposeful reason to critique it other than to CHANGE it from your intention. It's great just the way you INTENDED it to be. Bravo!

Nice shot, but I wonder whether the shutter could have been closed down more to blur nose and ears, leaving the eyes the focal point? A sharper lens might have produced an even more striking shot. Good shot anyway.

Quindi sono d'accordo sul fatto che questo è definito un ritratto. Il seno scoperto non da fastidio, ripeto l'attenzione si concentra sul viso e sugli occhi. .....6
