stinshoff 1 Posted August 22, 2010 I've been experimenting with intentional blur myself in the last week or so. I've found that I've either had to blur it so much that the subject is totally unrecognizable, or minimize the blur so you can still make out the subject. I think this one could use a bit more - or a bit less- blur. Years ago I found a little book at the local library featuring landscapes and still lifes blurred intentionally through a variety of means. It had great stuff that I haven't been able to come close to approaching. If interested in seeing some of my own abstract flower shots, go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/stinshoff. I'd be interested in knowing how you went about achieving this shot. BTW, lots of cool abstract shots on your photo.net page. Link to comment
rudy1 0 Posted August 23, 2010 It is not I would say " blur", i got all of a shoots just by using a long exposure and moving a camera, but it was in focus. No additional artwork, only levels adjustments just bring up a contrast. This particular shoot is to same like next one, the Hope, only difference, in Hope I used levels like in rest of the shoots, just contrast, but this one I press "auto" button, and that is what I got. I will check a web link later to day Rudy@imaging-rudy.com Link to comment
