Guest Guest Posted August 25, 2010 Very precise and really enchanting, including the colors. Would make a great cover for a children's story! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 26, 2010 Certainly a bit different flower frame, I like the FG vs. the shallow BG, the angle, color palette, and details. and the liitle creature..;-)) that adds interest. Link to comment
jrickert 2 Posted August 27, 2010 I wouldn't change a thing here, Linda. How have you been? I was on facebook.com too much, reconnecting with old friends. I stopped by to say "Hi." This is gorgeous! I love the colors: they are some of my favorites. I love the sharpness of this photo. And the bug is a pleasant surprise! :) Take care, Janice Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted September 7, 2010 Before reading your critique request I was looking at the crop thinking if I would have done it differently. I decided that you had chosen the best crop and one that I too would most likely have used. The temptation is to crop it showing only the lower thistles which would then allow more zoom to show the insect larger. However that would have meant chopping off the foreground leaf and also eliminating the nice DOF effect of the background thistle. If the image were printed and shown three times larger then I'm sure all would agree it was cropped correctly. Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted September 8, 2010 lovely capture! I find that in moments like these I have a hard time finding the right composition to bring attention to what I want my focus on. You, on the other hand, have it just right. Superb capture. Love the colors and depth. Link to comment
