anne_s3 0 Posted August 16, 2010 Great portrait. His stillness - and athletic majesty- are well captured. And he has such an interesting face- and you've captured it with beautiful detail, color and light. Link to comment

chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted August 22, 2010 To start from the bottom , there is a hint ( from the sport blouse ) that this is a portrait of the tall guys' sport. I wonder if this young sportsman(?) , could ever think of what your magic would do on his portrait. If this were the first portrait you ever submitted on the net, would have surely taken the photo community by storm ( just my opinion). I want to say that every new portrait you post has the unmistakeable touch of skills, aesthetics, technical sufficiency and anthropocentric approach of the name that signs them. A personal note: I think that the inclusion of the brightly lit , sparkling , athletic blouse is of immense importance for the balance of the photo. The slightly low viewpoint gave the necassary epic feeling the occasion called for. I don't think that your sitter would want me to say more, nor you. ( just expressing my enthousiasm for the quality images we are privileged to see in your gallery, be it a portrait, a coast scene, a well thought out bodegon, or just a port , a Guggenheim, or urban shot. )Regards from Athens, Chris Link to comment
