I can see why!  You did an excellent job of capturing what you must have been feeling as you stood in this canyon and marveled at the beauty.  I particularly like the way you've composed this so that it leads the viewer from foreground to subject.  I also like that you chose a very low shooting position... something I often do.  I like to get my lens as close to water level as possible.

My criticisms of this are not significant and I feel that the photo stands on it's own artistic legs without modification.  My critical opinions are that the photo is not quite level.  Actually, it may be level but due to the complex elements it doesn't look that way.  Also, I feel that the dry (grey) rocks to the left detract from the overall feel of the image.  As I look at this, I can feel the tropical humidity, the mist from the falls, everything about it says moisture and the dry rocks betray this mood.  My final thought is that it appears a bit cool due to the shadows.  I have included my personal vision of how I would have cropped and processed your image, I hope you don't mind.  Just a visual representation of thoughts.

Very nice work Andrew.  I look forward to perusing your portfolio when time allows.  Take care.

Andrew.... Stunning Capture. This place really looks spectacular.... I had a look at the image that jeff made minor adjustments to, and the adjustments do have a positive effect on the image (both images are great nonetheless)....... Regards.
