Wonderful shot Bill ! Love the tones in the shot.  These little ones on such a hot day, enjoying the wonder of water as it splashes to the ground, then as it splashes upon their bodies and faces.  AND ....as you title suggests,  the little boy seems to be encouraging that sweet young girl, whose timidity seems to be holding her a bit back.  But she is making A STEP closer to the full stream of water.

Good timing, an innocent, intimate exchange between a little boy and girl.  He is the protecter, she the shy sweet thing learning to trust this young man. Even through the water the expression on her face reveals an inquisitive smile.  Great shot and processing.  I truly love this shot.  Sincerely, Gail
