Wow. I love it. It transcends the aforementioned fine qualities (eyes, tones, effectively restricted colour gamut) by saying something even more important - the fascination of little girls and women with beautiful things, an aesthetic in itself. At second look I was a bit disconcerted by the rightwards balance, but as a square image the assymetry works (including the purposeful hiding of parts of the subject), and it does so also in view of the subject's apparently shy or playful look.

I haven't spent much time on PN the past year or so...I'm gonna try to get back in to it some...maybe not as much as before but...anyway, I didn't realize when I saw this image before that it won POW...congrats, a lovely capture for sure...you have such a way with kids.  If you have time please take a look at the two new images I posted in my Little Darlings folder...any feedback would be appreciated.  Take care.  Jeff.

Ewa...thank you!

Arthur...thank you for the insights. Yes, the pearls are always a winner with the little girls. And sometimes I get lucky enough to get the shot too!

Jeff...Great to see your name. Thank you for stopping by. I always appreciate your comments.  I will go to your images now.
