I enjoyed your photo, creative and well done. I also looked at your portfolio  and I enjoyed your wonderful work there also. Most of my work is in nature, outdoors and wildlife photography, so it was fun to see your work in those areas. well done, Take care.

Nurhan,

I love this portrait. It is very sharp. The colors go very well together. I really like the use of the wide angle lens (or low perspective -- or both) to create the distortion. That really makes for a fat cat! Your slightly high contrast works very well in this setting. The pose and her silhouette through her dress is very sensual.

There are only a couple of things that bother me. Your left and right compositional balance is quite right heavy. Not only does the cat increase the weight on the right side, but the vase does as well. I would really hate to lose any of the city on the left side. I don't see a good way to change the composition without reshooting.

Your name is not part of the photograph. Your name could be properly placed on a mat surrounding the photograph. Hand signing a photograph is quite appropriate to distinguish it as a work of art if the purchaser wishes it done or even if it is on display and for sale in a gallery. Even in a gallery I would ask the purchaser if  he or she wanted it signed before I actually hand signed it.

Nice shot,

Msrk

I'm more and more amazed by this photo. It's really beautiful. I'd appreciate if you could tell us how you achieved this effect. It seems like you replaced the sky (or even maybe the whole view), so i don't know if there was any ambient light, but I reckon you had some flashguns to light it up from the outside. I'm not sure how you got these glowing lights inside. Could you tell us a bit how you made this magnificent photograph?

Mark: IMHO you offended the DOG, calling him a cat, but this matter also requires further investigation ;)

Regards,

Adrian

Nurhan,

Wonderful story telling image. Don't change a thing. I like the connection between the young lady and the dog.  I too am very curious about the lighting techniques used for this shot. Thanks for sharing.

Best Regards,

Guy
