Thanks. Let me tell you this shot being the best result of Mission Impossible, the idea I got while strolling along the beach. I used my own feet as model and my upper body bend down and right hand keeping my LX3 streched outwards as much I could. Having the zoom at max WA on 16:9 aspect ratio giving me horizontal angle of view of 22.5mm as 35mm equiv. I was aiming and wildly guesseng the framing and what ever were happening exactly on my left side. I couldn't even know where my camera was focusing on, but by accident all went pretty well here. Surely I missed a compact camera like the brand new Samsung EX1 with a swiveling screen, but unfortunately tha camera has too many serious cons I would spent my limited money on that, rather looking forward what Photokina will bring on the table as replacement for my ancient Sony R1, which on the other hand had been too large and heavy to keep on in this case very close to the water too.

Markku, your ability to create a great photo out of seemingly limited opportunity is truly amazing! I just can't learn enough from your photos!

These recent shots, just about every one, show me that you are soaring at a high creative level. I don't know how long you can fly towards the sun before the wax melts but...bon voyage!

I don't believe for a minute you lucked out here. It's a very good composition and a very good photo to boot. I'm impressed by what you did here.

Oh and btw. Better hang on to that LX, it's a great little camera.

Markku, This is a wonderful result of your usual care and creativity regarding the placement of all the elements in the frame. This image strikes me as a departure of sorts from your usual use of architecture and man made structures as the fodder for your skewed view on the world yet it is so stamped with your unique vision that it fits right in. Perfect timing of course.
