The challenge in doing the blurred waterfall effect, to me, is in having enough other items of interest in the image to make it work from a composition standpoint. I would try and include some of the area above or below the falls if it contained anything of interest, or even provided additional composition enhancement.

Good start, keep at it!

fabulous scene. I am of the opinion that the water could have been more white.
