Obviously, the unusual viewing angle works nicely here.

However, I especially liked the feeling that everything seems to be decorating the world of the dominating figure of the nearby girl.

Thanks Trisha, I appreciate it.

Bulent, what can I say? I deeply appreciate it you sticking with me. I'll be back soon.

Drew, thanks a lot, really

Welcome back, Ton. You have definitely been missed.

I just love this. The women appeared to be bored witless while the men are fully engaged, a sports event by any chance?

This is a "wow"photo. I like the triangle/angle/diagonal form of construction "built"with human around. A nice melange of what looks advertising and real life ensamble. One of your very best.

Really a classic shot, Ton. Not only a photo that stops you in your tracks but even more a beautifully balanced image in both composition and tone. This is a big picture.

I appreciate the tableaux feel this has. Though it's clear that it hasn't been, it has a feel of being somehow directed, especially the people on the top layer. What I respond to most is that feeling the spontaneity can have a sense of pose.

tableaux, what a great word to describe it and one I didn't think of myself. As far as (the feeling of) directed is concerned you know that the low angle of view is responsable for that. Thanks.

An interesting photograph, but I get the impression that the upper platform is not really meant for pedestrian traffic. Yes, the girls appear to be bored or a bit distressed.

It's more than just the low angle, which is very much part of it. For me, it's as much if not more the sense of almost intentional pose and gesture (though I know it's not posed).

I know Fred. It got me thinking about one of your recent threads in the Philosophy forum which I read with great pleasure. To be honest sometimes you see a scene like this and you react both with an amount of instinct and purpose.
