jerrymat 5 Posted May 23, 2003 I like the intimacy that you achieved with a shy subject. However I find difficulties with the composition. I usually follow a rule that I made up myself - the implied sight rule. When a portrait subject is looking to one side, leave more space on that side of the face. By crowding him against the left picture margin and having him look toward picture left, it over balances the composition and leaves it with the feeling of being ready to fall over. Link to comment
