A very beautiful composition Linda. She certainly seems very proud of her Heritage.  The Sepia tones give it  a 'timeless' look, well done dear friend....I have been listening to news about the fires, I sure hope you have not had evacuation orders. Talk soon, Gail

Thanks for showing the colored version as well. I think both have merite. The sepia tells a story of long time cultural duration. The colors are the colors! a  tiny bit  reducing their intensity will help I think, but it is a very nice woman in her  traditional cloths. Beautiful execution.

Linda, the pride in her stance, demeanor, expression have been eminently served in your treated version... the backdrop is quite undistracting given the forcefulness of her own personality... the color version uploaded does not seem to be the original of this photograph... the scene to her right, by her face, would suggest so -- but the clincher is her eyes -- in the upload she does not make eye contact with the viewer as she does in this photograph... and that to my mind takes away value... just my two cents... great work!

Andrea, it's good to hear from you, I was thinking about you.

Ovidiu, thank you.

Gail, thank you. On the day my company arrived from Ontario we were under evacuation alert. Thankfully  that fire was quickly under control and we are all fine.

Birte, thank you, glad to hear that you like it.

Pnina, thank you. This is actually a young teenager wearing braces. These events are very colourful, no need to up the saturation at all. I like all the fantastic colour but I think you see more of the person in black and white.  It's nice to hear your thoughts, I appreciate it.

Rajat, you are the observant one! I had another look and realized I had uploaded the wrong file. I had shot a few one after the other. I didn't notice that at all. Thank you.

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer.
