gib 0 Posted June 21, 2003 from the little I have read about portraiture, I thought 3/4 back side lighting was for men, and for corporate kind of power photos, but this is interesting and different, not so sure about the light catching her nose or all the hot white of her jacket, but clearly there is a strong, good feeling that your photo gives Link to comment

neild 1 Posted February 23, 2004 I may be a country hick because I wasn't aware that we should photograph men and women differently (should we?). All I know is that I like this, and the pose/lighting doesn't suggest to me that you should have asked her brother to pose instead... Link to comment
