Photo was shot directly into sunlight, and except cropping was not

altered. My intent was to have the fence direct attention to the tern

otherwise somewhat obscured by the reeds The color and reflection of

the water is very striking

This is a lovely image to view. It evokes the emotion of peace and tranquility. The subject selection is eye catching. Your composition is set up nicely. I would suggest cropping out the wood on the left side of the frame and eliminating the grass around the tern for a cleaner view. This would isolate your subject a little more and add a bit more impact to the overall scene. Beautiful capture, great eye!
