Nice! Just the right amount of definition in the water to show its flow and still have it be silky. You may get me to thinking about trying this kind of photography.

I still like fast water photos;  they look more real and I love the turbulence of them...but I'm still enthralled with being able to do this...I hate the sky in this, but with the moving water I couldn't do hdr, and I underexposed it as it was, just not enough for the sky.  I even tried replacing it, but the edges aren't solid enough.  So I just burned the heck out of it and gave up.  I guess I can't have every sky the way I want:)  Thanks for the visit!

Ya, that corner of sky is distracting, have you considered cropping the image to eliminate the upper part? Would the waterfall feel "too cramped" without the height of the stone?! Just thinking of alternatives, your intuition is always spot on. I love that the three of us have such fun adventures.

Most of my shots of this are more cropped with no sky, but I did like showing the rocks up there.  I'll get around to working on the shots with no sky, too.  Thanks so much for taking us!
