its a terrific shot. The nature of the subject, coloring of the mouth and nipple, the roundness in the head, mouth, breast, shoulder, the warm skin colors make this stand out. i can see why you might have re-framed it, as the composition seems hard to get right. you've done a good job here, but i'd be interested in seeing a version with more breast, kind of coupling child and woman. but that's a quibble, and shows how the picture draws you in and makes you curious. One thing though: if you've punched up the red, i would tone it down a hair.

I can't give you any constructive remarks. I think it is great.

The expression on the baby is wonderful. This image reminds me of the innocence we all have in our youth, something that we tend to forget and ignore as we grow older.

Warm and tasteful,(no pun intended).

This is a fine document of the mother/baby bond, skillfully and tastefully executed. One thing which strikes me about the composition is the way all the "circles" play off each other.

I like the tone, colour, lighting, composition and expression. I find the red spots on the breast and arms somewhat distracting and would clone/blur them out in PS, if you don't object to that sort of thing.

 

I'd nevertheless be mighty proud of hanging this image if it was my son! Well done!

I discovered this in someone elses highest rated photos and sure happy I did. I love it. Happy memories...I could say mammaries but I'm not that crass! ;) The crop, lighting, subject matter, fabulous Ringo!

Reminds me of the "good old days" when my four sons were babies. Sweet capture.
