The idea is to get a contrast of colours with these two dominant flowers.

Do they augment each other or is it clashing? Does the blue go with the

pink? These were the questions when I took this shot. Or did I need to

have composed differently? (Click on it for an enlarged view). Thanks for

viewing.

Very nice shot. I enjoyed your phtos of the flowers how they start out sharp and fade into the background. well done. take care.

I like the complementary color scheme, and the shades are very well suited to each other.  I think that your DoF works really well here, and I also like the way you composed this so that you notice just 3 flowers in the foreground with so many more in the distance creating a nice rhythm.  This would look great hanging on my dining room wall.    What lens did you use?

I think the colours are beautiful here. This is a great shot, I only wish there was a little more depth so the center flower would be fully in focus.

On a side note, I would have tried a birds eye view of these. The tulips in focus while the blue flowers are slightly blurred and smoothed out a little... I don't know if you'd have the opportunity to go back?

Paul and Clifford: Thanks a lot for your comments.

Kristin: Thanks. I use a Nikkor 18-200mm, f2.5-3.6, AF-DX VRII lens. I use this to avoid exposing the camera as this lens can be used for variety of images like portrait, landscape, macro, etc

Ryan: Thanks, I would have love to visit Keukenhof time and again but you may never get the same situation.

Rajnish,

I like the colors and I think they go great together.  I also think that using an AV of say F22 would have been even better because the repitition and pattern of all the flowers in the background are beautiful and interesting. They would look great. sharp and in focus. That being said, this is still a nice photo the way that it is. Take Care.
