Excellent photo.

Excellent exposure and composition. Besides the colors, I love the pattern in the sand that you have captured.

The photo is stunning. The only thing that distracts me is the matt. The red line is very distracting. The black matt washes out your dark values because it is darker than any value in the photo. It tends to grey out your darks. The black matt tends to draw your eye to the edge of the picture instead of drawing you in. I would love to see this one with a white matt. Bravo!

Still sudying your images: I'd like to know aperture and exposure time. What do you use for scanning slides? And then I imagine you print from the retouched digital file, right?
