The far shoreline looks enough like a horizon that it should probably be horizontal. It's also dead center in the picture which is usually considered a no-no. I'd suggest cropping the bottom, since all that negative space does not really contribute anything. Also, there is a lot of color lost by viewing on the browser. I wonder if this had been set to sRGB before being converted to a JPG?

 

With all that, it's still a beautiful picture.

I would agree with Michael on this one. A crop on the bottom and a CCW tilt would probably make this better but it is a beautiful shot!

Yes, it would make a great picture even better, but it would also make it fit in one Photo.net frame at large setting. As it is now, you can't see it all at one time.

Alex, I would have to say, "yes, I wish I were there now!" It is a beautiful image, but I have to agree with the other comments regarding the cropping. But you still can't help but want to be there. It looks like it is a very beautiful place.

It is tilted slightly but it's a nice capture of a beautiful place and time. After driving through a blizzard today, I most definitely wish I were there, NOW!
