LenMarriott 9 Posted September 28, 2003 Lou Ann, My favorite of your posted photos. Desaturating was a good idea as it removes yet another possible distraction. Simple, graphic, story telling! A fine result for all your efforts. Best, LM. Link to comment
mike_hodson 0 Posted October 27, 2003 Nice shot. I like this one. Good on you for being opportunistic. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted November 1, 2003 The ability to take a common scene and turn it into an uncommon image is a talent I admire ........................... (-; Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted November 24, 2003 This is my favorite of your photos... so far. Please forgive me if I imitate this someday. Up here in Michigan we probably get more opportunites for these kinds of shots. My only critique is I wish the light didn't get quite so bright at the top, but it is still effective. I especially like the dark wood at the bottom, which REALLY sets the mood. Link to comment
ciofalo 0 Posted December 9, 2003 Great! This competes with "Blue 2" as my favorite in your folder. Probably more original, although more subdued and aesthetically less striking. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 29, 2003 I re-visited your folder too... and I found this little jewel. How fragile look those little prints in the little frozen and hard wood... the dark lines strengthen as if it was necessary their cuteness Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted August 1, 2005 this is very cute and most nicely executed. It reminded of this one, it has similar ingredients, though quite a different meaning - regards. Link to comment
beaz 0 Posted January 5, 2006 I really like this one! I wonder at the little spirit who left these marks and, because of you, was able to touch others it never knew existed. Link to comment
nanette 0 Posted February 14, 2006 Found you on Five and was having a browse of your portfolio. This one caught my eye and I really can't say much more than what already has been said. I love the diagonal lines and the light gradient of the shot. The angle is perfect and the crop is really effective to show the origin of the birds path. Very nice and the detail is superb. mark bignell 0 Posted February 15, 2006 I really like this shot. It really holds my attention with the lines leading me to the top right the footprints to the top left and the darkness to the bottom. Perfect. Link to comment
