The perfect moment ! Very good application of the selective sharpness (DOF in English ?).

 

Althought the moose's head is placed in the middle, I think it is the perfect placement. It has a bit a static effect however that supports the funny appearance of the Animal.

I really like the expression on this mooses face. Great job on creating a above average nature shot.

After reducing noise, sharpening image with USM (in LAB mode), blurring background, repairing color balance and saturating it more it looks better. It took only 3 minutes and the picture seems to look much better now.

I love moose and this one is beautiful. The expression on its face is a great capture. I just bought the 50D (keeping 40D as backup) and can't wait to give it a good try. Great details and composition, simple but nothing else is needed. Wow.

One of the most expressive moose pictures I've ever seen! I like it. :-)
