Gino,

Very good lighting, contrast, color saturation, focus on eyes, eye contact with the camera (viewer), skin color, expression and composition.  The background is nicely neutral and out of focus., which allows your subject to be well separated from the background.

Over all, an excellent head and shoulders portrait. Just be careful of multiple catchlights. One catchlight per eye is preferred.

Excellent portrait in soft light. Good use of DOF, keeping the face sharp and the bg blurred. Catchlights give a nice sparkle to the eyes.
