axel-cordes 0 Posted July 5, 2010 You got a fine moment in time - a leisure shot - 2x both hands up is the little extra which makes this a great shot. Congratulations!
acarodp 0 Posted July 7, 2010 Hi Radu,it is indeed a fine moment you caught here. Good use of depth of field and nice tonal range, especially on the foreground. Some negative points: I'm not very fond of the greenish tint I seem to see (or is it my monitor?), but this is totally personal taste.I think the square, tight crop is not serving the purpose here. I would like to see some more space around the woman's arms, to add some perception of the environment. Moreover, the two main composition elements (the woman in the foreground and the boat in the background) develop horizontally, and would, I think, be aided by a horizontal crop. Finally, I seem to see some posterization, for example in the (artificial?) vignetting on top and on the woman's arms, which produce purple-green bands... this is most likely a processing problem: you stretched the tonal range in a low bit depth image such a jpg perhaps? Cheers! L.
chens 0 Posted July 29, 2010 my favorite among your recent picture. very creative composition. good tone. reagrds.
