Dear Photographer,

As a hobbyist, I am trying to find my place in the world of photography. It

would be wonderful to hear your feedback on my photograph and if you have

the time, my album. Look forward to hearing from you all.

I think you might find what you are looking for soon. This is OK and a great B&W representation. What would have nailed it for me is if the left vertical had been vertical.

Thanks David for your time and comment. I don't think I understand what you mean by keeping the vertical, vertical.... Are you saying that had it been an angle from the side with the lines being straight, would have had a better effect?????

Yes.... glad to see that I did understand what you meant... and yes, i agree, turning it and keeping the verticals straight makes a difference :)

A couple of things bother me on a very nice shot. The vertical (already discussed). The blown out white areas on the lock. The seeming front-focus. (The focus seems to be on the wood of the door and not the lock and its decorative hasp.
