Yes, I know that LOVE is the power of life;  the image  was brought about by feelings from my own past, but had been reminded of them by a friend who is going through a difficult time; lonely, isolated, trapped, and truly in a relationship where she is constantly living in a state of very low self-esteem.  A Love that was very much alive that not throught her neglect, her partner increasingly made many more things more important than her.

On a personal level it has been very difficult for her to maintain a true sense of peace and acceptance. Years that should have increasingly brought them closer were ones that alienated her.  Almost as if she was an 'insider' looking in. We all know that for a flower to grow and become beautiful and fragrant, it much be cared for, gently touched love and care.  The only pruning that should be done is to what is 'old' and of no use, so that all her energy can be devoted to becoming a strong and even more fully loving individual. She no longer glows with the happiness of one who is 'living life'.

It will be a happy time for me to see her face glowing, her heart expressing happiness and acceptance, and to know that someone truly cares for her, and his love for her is evident on his face when he sees her. Life can be short, and it should not be lived under a 'shroud of indifference'.   Thankyou Radu for your kind and insightful comments. Love is the lifeforce that makes all living things thrive.  Warm regards, Gail

Your soul must run 'deep'....in touch with your emotions and clearly aware of 'how to tend a garden'.  Thankyou for your reamarks and your visit.  Your support is truly appreciated, Gail

Beautiful rose well lit and delicatly presented. The texturing around it is also intriguing. Not sure I like the frame clipping the two petals. That is not an objection to the frame, just the crop.. The warm color glow is also very nice. Chek out the rose I have up in my critiques section as well and let me know your thoughts. Hope this finds all well. - Charles

There must be a 'technical' thingy that I don't know how to do yet, but I tried my $##%%%*** !! to fix that crop on the petals, and just couldn't. One day maybe I'll figure out what I did wrong.  But thankyou for visiting and sharing your kind thoughts on this image Charles, take care, Gail
