wayne_young1 0 Posted March 13, 2003 Fantastic photojournalistic shot. Can't say I'd hang it on my wall, but it's a good picture - very dramatic. Link to comment
ben_ili 0 Posted March 16, 2003 Wonderful photo!!! I would be willing to bet that you would be able to sell that photo back to the firefighter. My friend does this with the local sffd where I am. Did this get published in a newspaper? Link to comment
dave_harris_fried 0 Posted March 16, 2003 The paper I work with has a great relationship with the local FD. We give them free 8x10's of their favorite photos for departmental use (they keep a great archive of them in fact). As a result, they give us great access to fire scenes, and rarely hamper us (assuming were not in anyone's way, of course). However, this shot never made it to the paper, as the editor (a friend of mine in fact) decided to go with a wider shot of the entire scene. I still give him grief about that decision to this day... rameses__ii 0 Posted March 19, 2003 Wow. Nice composition. Color is outstanding. Sense of action, feel like your right in the middle of it!!! Link to comment
craig_allyn_rose 0 Posted April 22, 2003 I quite like this photo. The foreground with the firefighter's silhouette says it all. The upper left of the image shows the roiling flame and exudes danger. Great shot! Link to comment
