This is a beautiful portrait of your mom. I'm thinking of you as you go through this difficult time.

Thank you Karolos and Linda. It is a extremely sad time right now, I just had to post this in dedication , as she was so young at heart .  She was only 21yrs old here , the photo was taken 63 years ago probably in Montreal. Before she died, it was this time in her life she talked so much about.  Growing up, family, leaving home, working in the big City, everything was so exciting for her....  and guess what , she had a little camera and loved photography, which I only found out later in life when I showed my interest.    The last seven years we enjoyed our passion for photography together ,  which just makes it even more special for me now.  My heart breaks , and will miss her so so very much...

So sorry to hear about your loss, Andrea. She must have been a very thoughtful and caring person, judging by this wonderful portrait. Hugs, Tom

Big hugs! She looks beautiful and dignified. Even when it is expected it is impossible to prepare for a loss of a loved one. My heart goes out to you
