alessandro_rossi1 0 Posted March 11, 2003 Finally an original picture of Venice, no gondolas, no canals, no pigeons! Perfect exposure. Link to comment
terry_lu 0 Posted March 11, 2003 Unbelievably beautiful! Just wondering how you made it - especially the exposure. It seems to me rather difficult to take such a picture at this time of the day, I mean when the light was dimming out. Could you tell me the aperture and shutter speed you chose while taking this marvellous picture, if you could still remember:) Many thanks! Link to comment
vlad po... 1 Posted March 11, 2003 Outstanding! We can just count "...one more 'killer' from Francis...". By the way, I'm curious did you do any kind of postproduction job. Link to comment

bruce_jones3 0 Posted March 11, 2003 I love this. What a terrific exposure this is. This is hard to do without a lot of touchup in the darkroom. Excellent and different look at Venice. I love the muted colors. Link to comment
seandepuydt 2 Posted March 11, 2003 Exposure is right on. Composition is good and the colors add to the wonderful mix making a very good image. Link to comment
maria_s. 1 Posted March 12, 2003 This may change my mind about Canon ... I like the square crop and fantastic colors -- did you use a warming up filter? There is a right amount of early morning bluish hue but lanterns light and the sky are very warm (I think that the first lantern's light is too bright). Link to comment
indywatchman 0 Posted March 13, 2003 I couldn't get to the 7 rating fast enough. Great lines, great light, great shape, great perspective. Great work. Link to comment
