Outstanding capture, I like the clouded sky, the colors and the street light post is adding a great impact to the composition here, wishing you all of the best my friend.

It is a nice image, but maybe a bit too dark, especially in the foreground.  Maybe some work with layers to lighten it some?  Or, here's an idea for a weird effect:  crop out the foreground leaving only the sea..as if the lamp were suspended in the water...maybe too weird, eh?!  Your portfolio has some really great images--the land and seascapes and the portrait work are super.  Not sure why you selected this one for critique.

Hi Daniel thanks for commenting. I left the forground dark cause I didn't find it interesting enough to merit exposure detail. And I thought a dark foreground would give a base for the image. Well I actually submitted this one for comments cause I was not sure about it and wanted to see other opinions. Like you did. Thanks again for your constructive  opinion . Best wishes.....John

Thanks for the explanation, John...good points all.  I try to give different ideas with my critiques--exactly what I would hope someone else would do for me.  At least in my case, "nice image!" just isn't enough...I always want to know what I might be able to change or improve.  Cheers!
