Here goes! This is a striking picture. Cats are very selfish creatures and if they don't want to pose for the camera . The expression of the cat is as if it is saying, "What is this dumb human doing?"

To get this effect you have used a flash. Whilst the shadow of the cat on the chair can be ignored the shadow of the cats' eyelids on the eyes is rather unfortunate.

A good picture and it would be hard to do better in the setting you are in.

By the way. You have commented on 1 or 2 of my photos but not rated any! I am sure there are one or two pictures you can rate for me.

Actually, no flash was used. I hate using my flash. I'm sure if I had the skills to properly utilize it I might like it a little better, but I don't really agree with the concept of the flash for the type of photography I am doing.

I kind of liked the hooded feeling given to her eyes by the shadows of the eyelids, but I'm glad to see some different opinions.
