For your observation in my "Thirsty"... yes the upper left corner green blob ws a leaf which I did not crop .... I ws thinking the over cropping may introduce abit empty feeling in the frame. your this portrait is just awsom and well balanced too in colours. Regards. Rudy C.

A lovely image that is crisp with a natural looking color - borders are a personal thing and if you were selling this image the buyer would simply buy the image and do their own "border/frame thing".  There is nothing in the background that distracts me from the flower even though I have been guilty of looking for a very colorful background that adds value to the viewing experience. Congrats on a very fine image.

Another beautiful bloom offering. (you have many)  What I like about this one and the others, apart from great composition and presentation (framing), is your treatment of the backgrounds, soft and non distracting.  This isolates your subject and gives them a 3D effect.  The way it should be.  Best, LM.
