ptucci 0 Posted March 10, 2003 The weatherman forecasted heavy fog, and I had been intrigued by the lines of this interchange since moving here. Went down at midnight, but the fog was a little disappointing. I'll try again later. Link to comment
bo_plenty 0 Posted March 12, 2003 You have found a graphical element in the ordinary world, which, to me, is a major part of what photography is. Good work. Link to comment
rsalguero 0 Posted March 19, 2003 The lines on this image are gorgeous. Very magestic. I like the image even more when it's cropped a bit on the bottom to keep the focus on the strong freeway underside. Link to comment
nicolette.gendron 0 Posted April 15, 2003 Long time admirer of interstate overpasses - glad to see someone photograph one that does them justice. Interesting perspective. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 26, 2003 From all your pictures I saw (I didn't look at all of them), this is the one I prefer. I think it's a very good picture, there's movement, there's mass and a very interesting graphical composition with these two monsters. We know we drive on those, yet here they seem to be dealing with each other and their original purpose is completely forgotten... I can see why you would want to crop the bottom, but I feel on this perspective, cleaning it up there might remove too much of the interesting stuff... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 5, 2003 the midnight lighting is surreal. great tonal range as well. the dark highway underside is exquisite. most of the interchanges / overpasses in my neck of the woods have flat concrete undersides... however, i've been eyeing one that has criss-cross metal beams on the underside... i have a collection of interchange/ramp images here Link to comment
toja.com 0 Posted August 29, 2003 Oh yes. As clean as it gets in it's beautiful form. Link to comment
ptucci 0 Posted September 22, 2003 I resubmitted a very slightly cropped version (2% of the bottom) per suggestions. Link to comment
