An excellent image!  I love the transitional area in the water between the reflection and the rocks in the lake.  Very clean image, and nice cloud patterns in the sky.  Congratulations, Chip!

What a superb composition!  From the rocks to the clouds, this is wonderful.  It throws me just a bit to see a reflection that is slightly lighter than the source, but I suppose that's the effect of the polarizer.

Wouter-this is a single exposure with a 3 stop soft GND filter, and polarizer to turn the near foreground translucent.  I brought out the reflections in the foreground a bit with some curves layer masks, and upped the contrast over-all the same way, with lots of layer masks, and luminosity masks, using curves.  Thanks guys!

This is such a beautiful shot. My brother works real estate in Banff/Canmore. He and his family have lived out there over 25 years. I was out last 20 years ago, and this photo just makes me yearn to see that beauty again.
