I agree, nicely composed and processed. The grain adds nicely to the feel. Just one thing bothering me is the 2 crescents of darker (or lighter depending on how you look at it) area at the top of the shot. It looks like they could me hills, but then I wouldn't expect to see the brightness in the distance behind the horse if so - just keeps dragging my eye back to it and distracts slightly. Cropping it off doesn't work either as the horse is so nicely placed in the original.

Lovely use of grain, silhoutte, and viginette. The profile of the horse is well placed and most effective.  Great comp. respectfully, Gail

Wonderful compositon with an 'air' of mystery, the fog and slight texture add to this feeling.  The light is very 'key' in this shot I think, and you have used it to your advantage.  Thankyou for sharing, Gail

A beautiful treatment to this subject. Elegant, refined, nostalgic. A great "painting". The uneven darkening of the left side of the image vis a vis the right makes it even more interesting, with the trees in the background. Like the classic paintings in the great museums. Timeless!

Congratulations. 7 all the way.
