thanks again, Mike. These babies were outside my livingroom window in the hedge. You could hear them squawking every time the mother came in with food, which was about every 5 minutes!

That is so cute Melanie and I am envious of the shot. Every time I see another photographers image of baby birds I wish that I had one of my own in my portfolio. Maybe someday I stumble across some while I'm out shooting.

Perhaps the squawking annoyed you, but I'll bet you and your kids had a ball watching these little things being taken care of by the mother.  Once a robin built her nest on the window sill of my kitchen window, and it was a fascinating process to watch.  This is a great shot!  I haven't been on PN much lately.  My computer crashed that has my editing program on it, so I need to buy a new computer.  Ughh!!  Hope all is well with you and your family!
