steve_wagner1 1 Posted September 9, 2010 The sun is both behind and in front at the same time. Is it therefore a composite? All of these comments are praising it as a photograph. A composite is not a photographs, it's two or more photograph combined in Photoshop. You would better serve the PN community if you clarified this for such an attractive but also suspect image. GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted May 27, 2011 Dear Sumon,I do not know how I missed this beautiful portrait last year, it is truly one of the most amazing art works I have seen. It does appear this man is crippled in one way or another, or why would he be tied, but his face shows happiness. There are days on PN when I am astounded by the true talent and the 'heart' of those who post. Today is one of those days. Bless you for sharing this 'statement' of 'humanity' with us all. Beautifully done, respectfully, Gail Link to comment
dan_dukro 0 Posted July 15, 2012 I'm sorry to say this, but the lighting looks odd. How can he be illuminated like he is from the side and from his upper right when the sun is clearly setting behind him and below the horizon? Link to comment
patrick_coombes 0 Posted March 25, 2013 Fantastic portrait, the old man so well captured and lighted. With that sky in the background the effect is magical. Congrat Summon.Beats regardsPatrick Link to comment
