willem_dijkstra 1 Posted March 8, 2003 I tried to copy a picture from Chris Rout in the book "New product shots", especially to get the special lighting effect. I placed a halogen floodlight above, with a sort of tunnel directing the light to the pasta, avoiding a large spread around. Chris used a spotlight with honeycomb, but I don't have that. Comments ? paulfisher 0 Posted March 8, 2003 Lighting is perfect. On my screen it doesn't look entirely sharp, but that may be a compression function rather than a fault in the original. Link to comment
vicki_huynh 0 Posted March 9, 2003 Good lighting, composition, colors, and tonal range. I've never seen pasta quite like this before! Good work. Link to comment
yoti 0 Posted March 10, 2003 Nice light. the only suggestion I have is the triangular void in the lowe right hand corner weighs the photo down. It is begging for something else to balance it out. Maybe more pasta... Nice job! Link to comment
