dennisbromage 0 Posted June 14, 2010 Elgol on the Isle of Skye on a changeable late winter evening when the only time the drizzle really stopped was when it rained! At this point another squall and more drizzle where blowing in but suddenly just as the sun was about to cross the horizon a shaft of light escapes for a few brief moments illuminating the foreground with this wonderful three dimensional light... Karl Schuler 48 Posted June 14, 2010 Beautiful light, a lucky moment. Good composition. It is a pity that the foreground rocks are not sharp. Karl Link to comment

dennisbromage 0 Posted June 15, 2010 Hi Karl. It was a lucky moment I guess but I was there for 8 hours waiting for the right moment too...The original image is sharp from front to back but is seams to have suffered badly when uploaded to the this site. It's a little better if you click in the image to see the larger size but still not great. Can anybody tell me what the optimum size to upload for quality is on here?CheersDen Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted July 30, 2012 Really wonderful lighting, shadows, and long exposure! I was there once and waited, but never saw the sun. Link to comment
