vkimages 0 Posted June 12, 2010 Excellent work. Very serene and peaceful. Great composition as well. Was it a single exposure with GND filter or two exposure and blended in PS?. Well done! Link to comment
bartbies 71 Posted June 13, 2010 Great image, I think that you should more sharper because the stones are little blur and they are mainly subject of this. Link to comment
brendan_trewartha 0 Posted June 14, 2010 Thanks again everyone, Vishwanath this was 2 exposures blended in photoshop, using GND filters in this situation darkens the rocks which are above the line of the horizon, in this case I find blending the shots much more effective.Best Regards, Brendan. jeff.grant 0 Posted June 14, 2010 Brendan, this is very nicely done. The rocks form a nice frame on the left and are well spread in the rest of the image with the distant rocks really grabbing my attention. BTW, where is Camel Cove? Link to comment
brendan_trewartha 0 Posted June 14, 2010 Thanks Jeff, this is at Camel Rock Beach, just North of Bermagui. From the lookout and South of the rocks, the rocks look like a Camel, moving between the rocks and the headland you can compose a photo like this one, to the North is a small passage under water at high tide, if you head up through this you reach a private beach and some other very interesting rock formations including a large natural rock arch.Note this photo is best taken in Summer as during winter the sun rises too far to the North, it is also bitterly cold in Winter.Best Regards, Brendan. jeff.grant 0 Posted June 15, 2010 Thanks Brendan. I'll check it out next time that I'm down that way. It's not an easy coastline from memory. Link to comment
brendan_trewartha 0 Posted June 17, 2010 Take some good shoes Jeff, the rocks here are very sharp under foot. Link to comment
