Salt Heap - Covered & uncovered

At creek side, after collection of natural salt, it is arranged in the

form of the heap. Workers start covering the heap when monsoon

arrives. (see the 3rd heap)

From distance, salt allover the channels look, like snow.

This is a good colorful documentary picture. I would like to see it sharper. The white salt heap is attractive but overexposed and lacking details. In this type of shots dof is an important compositional aspect. So the selection of point of focus is very important. As Tushar had pointed out, a bw version would be really dramatic. But desaturation of colors will reduce the documentary value of the picture. Best regards.
